Editorial policy
Select Garden Review aims to publish clear, considered writing about garden design, plants, materials, seasons and garden culture. We distinguish general explanation from specific claims and correct meaningful errors openly.
Accuracy and care
We check names, terminology and factual statements against suitable source material before publication. Articles should make their scope clear, avoid overstating what a design choice can achieve and distinguish established background from interpretation. We do not invent observations, tests or expertise.
Independence and disclosure
Editorial decisions are made for relevance to readers, not as a condition of a commercial arrangement. Any paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage.
Corrections
If a reader spots an error, they can contact us with the relevant article and a description of the issue. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted, making substantive changes clear where appropriate.
Images and illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with AI. Illustrations are not presented as photographs of a particular garden or as evidence that a planting or design has been tested.
