Write for us
We welcome pitches that help readers see gardens more clearly: their design, plants, materials, seasonal character or cultural history. Send proposals through the Contact page, not as a finished unsolicited article.
What to pitch
Propose one defined subject and explain what a reader will understand or be able to consider after reading. Strong ideas are specific enough to make a clear point, yet broad enough to interest readers beyond one particular garden. We welcome explanatory pieces, comparisons, background and thoughtful seasonal observations.
Make the case
Include a working title, a short summary, the intended category and a few lines about your approach. Flag any claims that need careful sourcing, any personal experience the piece would rely on, and any commercial or other interest relevant to the subject. Do not send confidential material.
Editorial fit
We look for original, readable work with a distinct focus and a respectful understanding that gardens vary. Avoid unsupported claims, product-led pitches disguised as editorial, and advice that depends on unverified specialist or local requirements. We may edit accepted work for clarity and fit.
